Here are some answers to the top questions that I have been asked. If you still have questions, please don't be afraid to contact me directly!
•What is cold process soap?
Cold process soap involves a chemical process called saponification where you mix base oils(olive oil, coconut oil, cocoa butter, etc.) with lye (sodium hydroxide) to create soap! While there are other techniques used to make soap, this is my preferred method.
•So it's soap like I can find in the store?
Technically, yes. BUT my soaps are made with ingredients that are good for your skin! You will find no unnecessary ingredients in my products.
•What's the difference between your soap and the popular commercial brands?
My soaps are made in small batches and are handmade thru and thru with unnecessary chemicals and ingredients. Handmade soaps preserve the qualities that the oils/butters/fats that were used to make that particular batch. That means the benefits of coconut oil, shea butter, olive oil and anything else that was used to make that bar of soap will be in that bar of soap! How can you say no to something that good for your skin?
•I want something custom. How do I do that?
